Sumanglam Wood Products (India) Pvt Ltd has a rich history spanning more than three decades. Our esteemed directors, the cornerstones of our organization, boast an extensive wealth of knowledge and expertise in the timber industry.
In 1982, they began their voyage as licensed forest contractors, registered with the Autonomous District Council in Khasi Hills, Meghalaya, which provided the majority of the pinewood in India from 1982 to 1994.
As a result of the Central Government’s prohibition on deforestation in the early 1990s, our company was founded in New Delhi in 1994.
Recognizing the growing demand for timber in India, we established a sawing unit in Gandhidham, Gujarat and started importing pine wood from New Zealand.
Over the years, Sumanglam Wood has actively imported softwood logs from diverse regions, including New Zealand, Australia, South America, and Europe.
We use the latest technology and machinery to process timber into high-quality finished products. Our products are used in a variety of applications, from construction, packaging and furniture industry.
