Reducing Carbon Footprint

We are happy to share that our manufacturing facility is powered by a 90.5 KW solar panel system, fuelling 75% of our operations as on today. We have installed solar panels in our Gandhidham plant to generate roughly about 75%-80% our daily needs, which ensures that we stick to our promises of elimination of carbon emissions.

We have also pledged to be 100% carbon neutral by 2028. Sustainability will be the leading forefront and our main focus for future as we embark on our growth journey, which means all of our manufacturing processes from purchase to shipment will be backed by following and adhering to only sustainable methods

We at Sumanglam use only PEFC and FSC certified timber for production. Healthy forests provide an invaluable source of wood and is a source of green, sustainable energy.

Throughout the regions where we operate, we remain committed to exploring strategies that strike a harmonious balance between environmental, social, and economic values.

Our wide range of Products:

Since its inception, Sumanglam Wood’s primary focus has been sourcing top-quality timber. In the early 1990s, we expanded our operations to include timber imports from various global regions, including New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Ecuador, Colombia, Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Malaysia, among others.
We also set up a network of warehouses after establishing our manufacturing facility in Gujarat. Our strategically located warehouses facilitate the trade of a wide range of products, including plywood, doors, and shutters. The success of our company can be attributed to its ability to establish itself as a niche player in the wholesale timber market of India within a relatively short period of time. We developed an extensive customer base by establishing wholesale units and establishing partnerships in five major Indian cities, serving wholesalers as well as leading developers in the country.
